One of the things I appreciated, just after graduating from college graduation, is working on my school teachers, who had the “real world” experience. I can not tell you how many times have we heard, a teacher, “Well, that is what the textbook says. Now, let me tell you how it works in the real world.”

Only textbooks give students a basis on which to build further in a real job. Often, the real world does not follow the procedures laid down in the eyes or / not act as models in the textbooks, making it difficult to adapt. You expect one thing in a new job, but find other, sense of loss on how to proceed.

Schools of Florida in collaboration with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) are introducing some of the “real world” in the schools of Florida. Beginning with the 2007-2008 school year, high school students in Florida schools may enroll in a course in entrepreneurship in the participating schools.

In June 2006, then Gov. Jeb Bush signed the A + Education Act, which provides 442 additional courses in the major schools of Florida. Entrepreneurship is a course of these offers.

The importance of this course for secondary education in Florida schools’ students is not lost on companies that complain that the whole nation secondary school graduates are not prepared to enter today’s workforce to graduation. Schools in Florida on ‘entrepreneurship course will teach students the vital business skills that benefit the entire community and economy. Companies are mainly based on knowledge, know how to use technology and use critical thinking skills are essential to Florida’s schools’ graduates. NFTE was instrumental in the development of entrepreneurship for the school program in Florida. The group is committed to providing entrepreneurship education to low-income and minority youth. They believe that the introduction of entrepreneurship to high school students gives them greater motivation to stay in school to do more with their lives after graduation. Entrepreneurship offers hope and opportunity for many students, who feel nothing for them after high school, except for minimum wage jobs. They are given the knowledge and confidence that can do more.

The national program has shown that the NFTE entrepreneurship course at the high school dropout rate decreases and increases the number of students going to college. Entrepreneurship is a trend that companies in the past 30 years has gone unnoticed by the majority. The aim is to move more than ever in U.S. history and is not likely to diminish as the country retools for the new economy. It might be useful to understand something about the business, if you want to join their ranks.

The New Oxford Dictionary <i> </ i> is defined <b> entrepreneur </ b> as “a person who creates a company or companies having greater than normal financial risks to do it.” Most business schools are still geared to large enterprises, so the typical MBA can do a small job. Fortune magazine now publishes a small publishing business, banks are setting up special departments for small businesses, etc. It might surprise you to know that women are the fastest-growing segment among entrepreneurs, and Hispanic women are more rapid growth of all.

When this trend really start? One answer might go like this. When the pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock, which failed to land in search of employment. It was the first American entrepreneurs. Entered into the business of raising crops, building houses, hunting and trading with friendly Indians. They created a new kind of life that became a new kind of country that has changed our world.

Our founding fathers were businessmen who financed the American Revolution to support the principles expressed in the Declaration of Independence and the freedoms of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Americans than ever consider that never shall be composed of nothing but independent business people.

In the early days, there was no assembly line and automation. While our ancestors engaged in slavery and some larger companies took root in major cities, most Americans were in business for themselves and our country was dominated by businessmen who tamed the West.

When things were reversed?

Since the Industrial Revolution in the era of the Civil War, which began to move slowly towards being a country of employees. In continuation of this trend, people moved to big cities to be near big factories and companies providing services to these workers. Our school systems began to focus on training people to be employed and our schools began to resemble factories, beginning and end of the children of the “change” with the ringing bell.

However, this trend reversed unexpectedly in our lives – a change that has puzzled economists for decades. Perhaps the trend of major companies in the U.S. since 1975 has been the transfer of Americans going into business for themselves. Americans are going into business for themselves at an unprecedented rate since 1975. There was a time in life when big corporations are governed. No more – now employ fewer than 20% of the workforce. In the early 90’s the majority of U.S. exports were produced by companies with fewer than 16 employees! Interesting the fact that employment is the most vulnerable in the new economy.

Generally, people become entrepreneurs to pursue a passion in life and to control their own destiny, but a lot of entrepreneurs have joined the movement just to be free from the confines of being an employee.

Unfortunately, people starting their own business, often without a viable business plan. Worse still, not to clarify their intentions. Not appropriate to establish a clear policy, which kills in its attempt to expand. Mistakes and errors cascaded from there.

The end result is that the new entrepreneurs to start managing your business and finish them your business. His life out of balance.

There is a reason why. Most people who take the leap and go into business for themselves are trained in just a few of the things an entrepreneur needs to know. There is much to know to make a company work, leadership, personnel, sales and marketing, finance, quality control and public relations are required, plus experience in the business of products or services. This could also be the main reason why a high percentage of new businesses go under every year – not “under the financing”, as was often to blame. There are systems that can learn to cope successfully with the problem areas, and if you use them, you can make entrepreneurship a highly rewarding. Perhaps the happiest and most successful entrepreneurs of all those who are able to master each of the skills necessary to run a successful business. Ensuring that they are free to concentrate on what they like to do more. Sound enticing? For some, I’ll bet nothing could be better. Depends on you.

2. “Lifestyle entrepreneurs” are people who chose self-employment because he did not want to work for someone, or because it offers a better way to balance work and home demands, or because it allows them to remain in the communities to which have a large attachment. The focus is generally on providing a living for the entrepreneur and his family. Often called “Mom and Pop” businesses,

3. “Growing Entrepreneurs” are those who are motivated to grow their businesses so they can create wealth and jobs in their community.

4. “Serial entrepreneurs” are people who enjoy the process of setting up businesses and their lives will create several businesses, often selling their companies in the process.
