Leadership comes in different shapes and forms. As leadership comes in different shapes and sizes, so does the philosophy of leadership. There are people from all walks of life who have their own philosophy of leadership. Who’s to say who is right and wrong? But if you expand your mind and allow your leadership to grow, you will benefit any organization.

We expect leaders to show the level followers and training to get there. They expect leaders to lead by example. Moreover, they expect leaders to keep them informed and take care of them. Being a leader is required to ask others to make extraordinary sacrifices to achieve your goals. The leaders may have to ask them to do things that seem impossible. However, “If leaders have trained their people to their political inspiration, and after constantly review their interests and are willing to meet any target, anywhere, anytime” (Reeves, 2004).

Leadership philosophies are based on opinions and experiences of an individual, what the philosophies are not necessarily agree, although you may have the same common goal. The best thing is that leadership always evolve if you expand your mind. What might your leadership philosophy today may not necessarily be tomorrow’s philosophy of leadership.

Many of my philosophies were influenced by the traits that are used by the U.S. Marine Corps and highest standard, which works well in any organization and some of them are: justice, trial, reliability, initiative, decision, integrity, enthusiasm, loyalty and courage to name a few. Another important skill that should apply to all of this applies to knowledge.

Justice teaches you to be fair and consistent. Nobody can ever say you are showing favoritism. Using the sentence gives you the ability to think about things rationally and thoroughly. Approach leads to good decisions, and decisions leading to better quality.

Reliability is the will and the voluntary support of the policies and orders of the chain of command “(Wright, 1984/2002). You must demonstrate that it is reliable, and is necessary because it shows that can be relied upon to their superiors and their employees. This means you can rely on to complete his work. It also means that he trusts his employees, which will build a better relationship and better communication between you and them.

Initiative goes hand in hand with reliability. Showing initiative means doing something before they were instructed a. It shows you are reliable and can think ahead and look at the big picture rather than what is in front of you.

A decisive person shows that have the ability to make good decisions without hesitation. Allows you to obtain data, analyze them and reach the best decision possible, while maintaining a high level or professionalism.

Showing enthusiasm shows a sincere interest and enthusiasm in performing their duties. Will make their employees more motivated and enthusiastic about their work, leading to improved productivity and working environment.

Having shown loyalty to their organization are involved, seniors, peers and subordinates. Have a sense of responsibility to all those involved in the organization. You are loyal enough to know if things start to get unethical, you know how to separate yourself from him, and keep doing the right thing.

Integrity is one of the most important traits of leadership within my philosophy. People can take a lot of you, but integrity is something that can only give. Show that you are truthful and a person of his word. When the integrity is applied to build the moral and ethics within any organization.

The most important leadership trait is courage. Courage is the foundation upon which all things start. Having these other features are useless if you do not have the courage to implement them. Without the courage to succeed and the courage to defend what we believe, should not be placed in any position of leadership because it lacks what it takes to be a leader. And if you lack what it takes to lead … who will?

Apply knowledge is an understanding of art or a science and its application. Knowledge they have acquired the media and to understand people, emotions and actions. Means that the application of knowledge acquired will be the information and share with their employees to be better, mentally stronger and more eager to learn.

To support the leadership of my philosophy, I have maximum follow, which are known to the U.S. Marine Corps leadership principles. One of my top is to know and seek my self improvement. This is done by working to improve the use of my strengths and weaknesses based on my thoughts and experiences. They must also be technically and tactically. Before I may, I must be able to do the job. If I can not do the job, I can lead by example. Albert Einstein said it best, “Setting an example is not the main means of influencing another, it is the only way.” Finally, I know my employees and ensure their welfare. As a leader, I am responsible for my employees well being and welfare. Her welfare must come before my own. Prior to its employees is to show disrespect towards them and the organization, which ultimately lead to destruction.

Many leaders of leadership philosophies are very different, but any attempt to lead, you must have a philosophy. You can read numerous articles on leadership, attend seminars on leadership, or even take the lead in offering different kinds of philosophies on leadership. However, I am not trying to change their philosophy of leadership … I am trying to broaden his mind.
